Sukunda

Sukunda, traditional oil lamp has deep rooted connection with Nepalese culture. It is most popular with Hindu and Buddhist culture. Most of the sukunda has an emblem of Lord Ganesh. Ganesha is the symbol of good luck and well being.

Sukunda is available during life-cycle events such as birthdays, marriages and rites of old age. This will also available at the Mha Puja ritual on the New Year’s Day of the Nepal Period. Even before travelling or returning back home we use Sukunda to give Sagun.
